Welcome to the 2013 Law Firm Challenge, which seeks to strengthen the connection between the Law School and our alumni practicing in law firms across the nation. 

Our goal is ambitious and simple: to have 100% of graduates working in firms with five or more alumni make a gift to the Law School by June 30, 2013. Last year, 33% of alumni matching that description supported the Law School. Let’s join together to have everyone participate this year.

Your gifts can support any area of the Law School. Pick one that interests you. It might be the Annual Fund, student scholarships, student fellowships or faculty research. Each gift counts and every gift matters! With many alumni already having donated this year, the participating firms are already off to an impressive start. As a special incentive, any firm reaching 100% participation by April 8 (the date of the Final Four National championship game) will be designated as a “Fast Break Firm” in our program materials.

Not only will the additional funds raised by this Challenge enhance the educational opportunities we can provide our students, it also will enhance your firm’s marketing among the students and faculty, and instill a greater sense of pride and identity within our Duke Law alumni base. We hope you will join together in advancing your firm’s participation total and, in turn, challenge fellow alumni at other firms. Together, we all win!
