Center on Law, Ethics and National Security
Founded in 1993, the Center on Law, Ethics and National Security was established to both encourage and sponsor teaching, research, and publications concerning national security law topics, as well as to conduct conferences and seminars in the national security field. Working both independently and with other local, national, and even international organizations, the center strives to bring together scholars, policymakers, and practitioners to promote open comment and debate on issues of critical importance to national security, such as the legal and policy implications of the war on terror; U.S. relations with the International Criminal Court; humanitarian interventions; and contractors' roles in military operations.
