Community Property

A survey of the marital property laws of Arizona, California, Idaho, Louisiana, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin, with comparison to the Spanish system. Students may concentrate their studies on the law of one of the nine states. Students may elect to be graded on an exam (tailored to their state), weekly papers on problems to be discussed in class, or a term paper.



Community Property is a bar exam subject in California and Texas. This course is offered every other year only.
