1Ls - Strategies for a Successful Job Search in Summer 2012: The Law Firm Search

Tuesday, April 10, 2012 • 12:15 PM • Law School 3041Duke Law Events

A successful 2L search has many facets, and requires a professional plan. This session will address: the economy's expected impact on the 2012 recruiting season; the elements of a strategic 2L search; the choices you'll need to make; the actions you'll want to take; key dates; and the host of resources available to help you excel. For more information, contact Alan Dickinson at dickinson@law.duke.edu.

Please note: This session is being offered twice (at 12:15 PM and 4:00 PM) to accommodate all students in the Class of 2014 focused on careers in the private sector. First-year students need only attend one the two sessions offered, and may pick the time that best fits their schedule. In lieu of attending The Complete 2L Job Search, students focused primarily on careers in the public interest or government may attend 2L Career Strategies for Public Service Positions, being held on Thursday, April 12.
