The United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit will hear oral arguments at Duke Law School on Friday, March 27. We welcome students, staff, and faculty to attend this session. Two cases will be heard by the Court. Each case will take about 40 minutes, with a recess between. Attire should be consistent with what would be worn to an official proceeding at the courthouse. All electronic devices must be turned off in the courtroom. Audio or video recording is not permitted in the courtroom. Entering or exiting the courtroom during oral arguments will not be permitted, except during the recess period between the cases. Sponsored by the Office of the Dean.
