The Duke Law Democrats present the next lecture in an ongoing Careers in Politics series. Karen Popp, former legal counsel to the president and current partner at Sidley Austin, will be joining us to talk about charting a high level career path in public service, the election generally, and helping to run this year's nominating convention. Ms. Popp is a former federal prosecutor in New York and lawyer in the Office of Legal Counsel at the U.S. Department of Justice and Associate White House Counsel to President Clinton. Lunch will be provided. For more information, please contact Kristie Beaudoin at kristine.beaudoin@duke.edu.
