Duke Law alum Libby Magee will discuss a new Christian legal aid clinic that will soon be opening in Durham. The clinic, JusticeMatters, Inc., is a non-profit corporation launched by a group of local legal professionals and law students who were looking for a way to invest their legal expertise and resources in our community in response to the grace and mercy of God, whose heartbeat is justice. JusticeMatters exists to promote vocational stewardship by legal professionals and to provide free or reduced-cost legal services, preventative education, and holistic counseling to our most vulnerable neighbors from a faith-based perspective on a volunteer basis.
