In conjunction with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) project, volunteers will be trained on the Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN) acceptance procedures. Participants will then assist foreign nationals in compiling documentation and completing the application for the ITIN. Although the application process is completed in conjunction with the VITA project, you do not have to be a VITA volunteer to assist with the application process.
