Our distinguished speaker will be David Payne (L '88), who is the Co-Founder and CEO of internet startup ShortTail Media, based in Atlanta GA. Prior to starting ShortTail, David was with Turner Broadcasting for 15 years, serving in a variety of positions, including SVP/General Manager of CNN.com, SVP/Business Operations and Development for CNN Worldwide, SVP/General Manager of CNN/Sports Illustrated, VP/Legal and Business Affairs for Turner Sports, and VP/Team Counsel for the Atlanta Braves, Hawks and Thrashers.
