Alfonso Calles-Sanchez, a visiting scholar who represented the European Commission in patent treaty negotiations and was responsible for defining and implementing European Community patent policies and legislation, will present his views as an insider to international patent negotiations and on the challenges facing the U.S. and European patent systems.
