Please join John Knight '83, the General Counsel of Olayan America, the American division of The Olayan Group, a privately owned investment firm, for a conversation about debt capital markets, corporate governance, and legal issues arising in emerging markets economies of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Prior to joining Olayan, Mr. Knight spent four years at the COO of the Bahrain Sovereign Wealth Fund. He has held senior positions at J.P. Morgan Chase, and the Rohatyn Group, an emerging market investment firm. Mr. Knight will speak about his career path and day-to-day work, while offering suggestions for students interested in pursuing legal careers in the region. Lunch will be served.
