Diana H. Pereira

Ms. Pereira joined the Office of the Federal Public Defender, Eastern District of North Carolina, in 2005. She serves as a research and writing attorney, appearing in U. S. District Court representing clients for various pretrial matters as well as clients facing federal civil commitment. She appears in court representing clients in federal misdemeanor cases and probation revocation hearings.

She received her J.D. in 2004 from Northeastern University School of Law. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Pomona College. Following law school, she was a law clerk for Judge William A. Webb, United States Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of North Carolina. She is admitted to practice in North Carolina state courts, the Eastern District of North Carolina, and before the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
