Kansas City alumni and friends joined Professors Tom Metzloff and Rich Schmalbeck for a pre-game gathering to cheer on the Blue Devils in the O'Reilly Auto Parts CBE Classic men's college basketball tournament. In the Championship Rounds' first semifinal game on Monday, Duke beat the Marquette Golden Eagles 82 to 77, to go on the next night to defeat the Kansas State Wildcats 82 to 68.
