The Duke Law community enjoys 24-hour access to the Law School and Goodson Law Library with a current DukeCard. Current members of the Duke University community may access the library at the hours listed below. A DukeCard will be required for entrance to the Law School building after 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and on the weekend.
The Duke Law School and Goodson Law Library entrances are open to the general public from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. After these hours, only current Duke Law or University students, faculty, and staff are authorized to be in the Law School building; others may be asked to leave.

Exceptions: The library will be closed on Monday, May 27 in observance of Memorial Day and Thursday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. The Duke Law community will retain 24-hour building access on the holidays and throughout the summer with a current DukeCard. Full evening and weekend services will resume at the beginning of the Fall 2013 semester in August.
