Nicholas Marsh (’98), Trial Attorney with the United States Department of Justice, Criminal Division, Public Integrity Section, addressed a number of topics relating to the investigation and prosecution of federal criminal cases, and in particular how those topics apply to public corruption matters. He discussed the considerations relevant to initiating a public corruption investigation, the different statutory and prosecutive approaches available to federal prosecutors, and some of the unique challenges that public corruption prosecutions present.
