Jim Towey, President of Saint Vincent College and former legal counsel to Mother Theresa, speaks about his experience with faith, politics, and the law. Towey led the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives from 2002 to 2006, also advising the president on church-state issues. Prior to his appointment, Towey spent ten years as a senior advisor to Senator Mark Hatfield (R-OR) and former Florida Governor Lawton Chiles, serving the latter as secretary of Florida’s Health and Social Services Agency.
