Brazil's Copyright Reform – Will Brazil Lead or Follow?

Fields of Academic Interest
Policy and legal issues related to Intellectual Property (IP) rights, including copyright, patents, trademark, unfair competition, and so on; net neutrality, ISP liability, data protection, information privacy, free speech, Internet, technology, digital copyright, DRM/TPM, open standards, open licensing (GNU/GPL, Creative Commons, Open Educational Resources, free and open source software), new business models, and policy-making, both on the international, regional, and national levels, with a focus in Brazil, but also with wide experience in the U.S. and the E.U., additionally to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
