250.01 Family Law
A study of legal and policy issues relating to the family, emphasizing marriage and divorce. Topics include requirements for marriage, nontraditional families, obligations at divorce, establishing parenthood, and adoption. In addition to a three-hour final examination, all students must negotiate a separation agreement and visit a local family court.
