Study

This seminar will examine the causes of the 2008 Financial Crisis, the impact of the Crisis on the American economy, and the legal responses to the Crisis (including litigation and changes to the regulatory system). There will be a special emphasis on asset-backed securities, including the creation and rating of ABS, and legal actions by the owners of ABS and the government against ABS issuers.
