Welcome to the 2016 Law Firm Challenge, which seeks to strengthen the connection between the Law School and our alumni practicing in law firms across the nation. Our goal is ambitious and simple: to have 100% of graduates working in firms with five or more alumni make a gift to the Law School by June 30, 2016.
The Law Firm Challenge launched in February 2013 with the goal of strengthening the connection between the Law School and our alumni. The Challenge, consisting of 120 firms with five or more alumni, established a friendly peer competition to enhance their collective philanthropic support to the Law School.
More than 600 alumni have participated in the success of the Law Firm Challenge. It also succeeded in helping strengthen the school’s relationship with many great law firms.
Your gifts can support any area of the Law School, such as the Annual Fund, student scholarships and fellowships, or faculty research. Each gift counts and every gift matters. Together, we all win! As a special incentive, any firm reaching 100% participation by April 4 (the date of the NCAA Men's Basketball national championship game) will be designated as a “Fast Break Firm” in our program materials.
All law firms with five or more alumni are invited to participate. If your firm is not listed among the participating firms and you are interested in joining the Law Firm Challenge, or if you have any questions about your individual giving this fiscal year, please contact us anytime.
