Law Alumni Association Board of Directors
Every alumnus/a of the Law School is a member of the Law Alumni Association (LAA). The LAA Board of Directors, its governing body, is working to build a worldwide Duke Law network for alumni and students.
Greetings alumni! It is a privilege to serve the Duke Law alumni community as President of the Law Alumni Association (LAA) Board of Directors. The LAA Board is here to serve you by sharing Duke Law School’s activities, priorities, and intellectual resources and by representing your interests to the alumni population, to the Dean and to the staff.
With over 12,000 members worldwide, the LAA is critical to the success of Duke Law. I encourage you to get involved by attending alumni events, mentoring students, and by connecting with faculty and fellow alumni. Your active participation enriches the lives of others in our community – intellectually, professionally, and socially.
Thank you for being part of this community and for all that you do for Duke Law School.
The Board is a representative group of Duke Law School alumni charged with the following mission:
- Communicate Duke Law School's activities, priorities, and intellectual resources to external constituents.
- Represent the interests of the alumni population to the Dean and staff.
- Advance the work of the Board through service to current initiatives.
- Build the institution through leadership.
