Bribery in the Law: A Conversation with Mauricio Almar about the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act

The International Law Society invites you to learn about the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and its impact on legal compliance programs. Mauricio Almar, a recent Duke Law Graduate, is a bilingual associate in Arnold & Porter LLP's Washington, DC office. His focus at Arnold & Porter is on the FCPA and additional anti-corruption laws. Mr. Almar will speak about what it means to work with the FCPA and the challenges involved. Mr. Almar will further discuss his career path that led him to Arnold & Porter and his current focus on anti-corruption laws, as well as his life as an associate.
