Students will be trained by the Cancer Legal Resource Center on various issues as they relate to persons affected by cancer. Topics covered will be Employment: Employment Discrimination, Taking Time Off Work, Leave for caregivers; Disability Insurance: SSI, SSDI, State & Private Insurance Options and Health Care: Health insurance and Health Care Options, Medicate & Medicaid, Navigating Insurance, etc. This training is open to all students.
