Please join Kate Gibson L'08, Assistant General Counsel at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) to learn about her career and day-to-day work at the U.S. agency charged with negotiating bilateral and multilateral treaties and representing the U.S. before the World Trade Organization (WTO). Ms. Gibson will discuss her career path, from clerking at the Iran-United States Claims Tribunal at The Hague to working at a major international law firm in Washington, D.C., to her current role in the U.S. government. She will also share advice with students interested in pursuing careers at the intersection of U.S. foreign policy, litigation, and international trade.
