Please join Jane Rogers (JD '96), a partner in Ropes & Gray's finance group in London, for a wide-ranging conversation about representing global corporate clients in a variety of financing transactions, mergers & acquisitions, public and private securities offerings and other corporate matters. Ms. Rogers is a member of the firm's policy committee and a former co-head of the firm's global finance practice. In her remarks, Ms. Rogers will discuss her work and career path as well as the type of work generally performed by U.S. trained attorneys in London. Ms. Rogers will also address the current issues facing the legal industry, including the continuing impact of COVID-19 and Brexit. Lastly, she will offer advice to students interested in starting their legal careers abroad, particularly with large international law firms.
