Do you think that no one should spend the majority of their life in prison for a crime that they committed as a kid? Come learn about the Duke Clemency Project, and find out how you can help people get out of prison as soon as your 1L year! The Clemency Project interest meeting will feature student leaders, faculty advisers, and supervising attorneys offering on overview of the NC clemency process and showing how you can make a real difference while honing your advocacy and mitigation skills. Students will also have the opportunity to ask questions to see if the project is right for them -- no commitment is required or expected to attend this meeting. Lunch will be provided!
