Client Management Training for Legal Aid

September 13, 2019 • 1:30 PM • Law School 3043

This training is for students volunteering at Duke through a Pro Bono program of Legal Aid of North Carolina. All students involved with Lawyer on the Line, the Veterans Assistance Project, Consumer Rights & Economic Justice Project or the Expunction Clinic must complete the relevant components of this training, or review the recorded presentation and complete a quiz.

Training consists of 1.5 hours of client management, 1 hour of substantive expunction training, and 1 hour of drivers license revocation training. We recommend that all students stay for as many sessions as possible, but your specific pro-bono group will identify mandatory components. Drinks and snacks will be provided. Sponsored by Lawyer on the Line, Veterans Affairs Project, Consumer Rights & Economic Justice Project, and the Expunction Clinic.
