The International Studies Office and Public Interest and Pro Bono Office, together with HLSA, will host Visiting Senior Lecturer Ambassador Patrick D. Duddy for a conversation with students interested in international affairs and public service. Ambassador Duddy is a senior Latin American specialist with broad experience in trade, energy, public affairs and crisis management. Having served as the U.S. Ambassador to Venezuela and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for the Western Hemisphere, he will provide an overview of his career and the legal and political challenges faced during his tenure with the State Department.
