The finalists will moot Speech First, Inc. v. Sands, 69 F.4th 184 (4th Cir. 2023) in the 2023-2024 Dean's Cup Final Round. Casey Jarrod Witte (representing the petitioner, Speech First, Inc.) and Kyle T. Gantz (representing the respondent, Timothy Sands) will argue in front of the panel: the Honorable Julia Gibbons, U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit, the Honorable Sarah Merriam, U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit, and the Honorable Andrew Oldham, U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit.
