Domestic Violence and the Confrontation Clause

Please join the Duke Journal of Gender, Law & Policy, American Constitution Society, and Coalition Against Gendered Violence for a panel discussion on the Confrontation Clause of the Sixth Amendment as it applies to prosecutions of domestic violence and sexual assault. The panel includes: Professor Tom Lininger of Univ. of Oregon, a former federal prosecutor, counsel to a subcommittee in the U.S. Senate, and attorney with Skadden; Dermot Garrett, Assistant State's Attorney in Maryland State's Attorney's Office (Montgomery County) and former attorney at the National Center for Prosecution of Child Abuse; and Duke Law Professor Lisa Griffin, who also spent five years as a federal prosecutor in the Chicago United States Attorney's Office.
