Guardian ad Litem, an organization based in Durham County that provides quasi-legal representation for children in the custody of the State of North Carolina, is hosting its annual interest meeting. A representative, Shirley Harley-Smith, from the GAL office in Durham County will be speaking about the process of becoming a GAL.
