How An Ill-Informed Society Impacts Political Discourse

Join us as we hear from Judge Don Willet JD/MA '92 MJS '16 from the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, as he discusses how an ill-informed society impacts public discourse with Duke Law Professor Tom Metzloff. Before his confirmation to the Fifth Circuit, Judge Willet was a justice on the Texas Supreme Court and quite engaging on Twitter. If eating is not allowed inside the classroom, a grab-and-go lunch will be provided outside the room beginning around 12:25 pm and Judge Willet's remarks will begin at 12:45 pm.
