As part of the Human Right in Practice series, join the Center for International and Comparative Law and the International Human Rights Clinic for this program featuring Rachel Chambers, Assistant Professor, Business Law, University of Connecticut, UConn Business and Human Rights Initiative; co-author of "Human Rights Disclosure and Due Diligence Laws: The Role of Regulatory Oversight in Ensuring Corporate Accountability" (2021) who will be discussing "oversight and enforcement" of mandatory human rights due diligence laws to ensure accountability for "the appalling human rights impacts of businesses including working conditions amounting to slavery and forced labor" including in global supply chains. Co-sponsored by Duke Human Rights Center at the Franklin Humanities Institute, the Human Rights Law Society, the International Law Society.
