JD/MA in Bioethics & Science Policy Information Session

October 03, 2017 • 12:30 PM • Law School 4045

How do we govern access to gene editing technologies? How will robotics advancements impact labor policies? Should the states have the right to allow citizens to try unapproved drugs? These are just a few of the questions that students in the joint JD/MA in Bioethics and Science Policy program wrestle with in addition to traditional law school course work. Joint degree students stand out in the job market, and unique opportunities. The three-year program is administered by the Law School and the Initiative for Science & Society. Join Science & Society's JD/MA Program Director Thomas Williams for a discussion of the program. Lunch will be served. RSVP to Marcie George at marcie.george@duke.edu. Applications are due October 15th. Sponsored by JD/MA in Bioethics & Science & Society.
