Lead Poisoning: An Environmental Injustice

The Environmental Law Society is hosting a panel of three of the most impactful people fighting the lead crisis. Kristin Totten, an ACLU lawyer who led the lawsuit against Michigan's Department of Education on behalf of the children of Flint, Dr. Ted Lidsky, a neuropsychologist and expert on the effects of lead on children's development, and Dr. Ralph Spezio, a school principal whose work to combat lead poisoning in Rochester is being used as a model around the nation, will speak about their work, the effects of lead poisoning, and potential solutions.
