MOOCs at Duke: a Teaching with Technology Workshop

Faculty Only: Information Services has invited three pioneers of teaching a MOOC (massive open online course) through Duke's partnership with Coursera (coursera.org): Mohamed Noor, Earl D. McLean Professor and Associate Chair of Biology; Walter Sinnott-Armstrong, Chauncey Stillman Professor of Practical Ethics in the Department of Philosophy and the Kenan Institute for Ethics; and Ram Neta, Associate Professor of Philosophy at UNC. They will share their experiences and insight into this new mode of teaching and learning. Duke Law faculty members only; lunch will be served. By invitation only.
