The 2018 National Library Week Alumni Author event features Ben Fountain (JD 1983), critically acclaimed author of the novel "Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk" (2012) and the short story collection "Brief Encounters with Che Guevara" (2006). Fountain will discuss his journey from attorney to full-time writer, and share selected readings from his works of fiction as well as his forthcoming collection of essays on the 2016 election, "Beautiful Country, Burn Again" (2018).
