Trauma-informed lawyering is a legal approach that considers the impact of trauma on clients and their experiences. It aims to create a safe and supportive environment for clients who may be experiencing vulnerable and emotional situations. Come learn from a licensed clinical mental health counselor how to develop these skills for use in your future practice, as well as tips on dealing with vicarious trauma. Sponsored by the PIPB Office, Office of Students Affairs, and the Coalition Against Gendered Violence. For more information, please contact D.J. Dore, Director of Pro Bono at djd2@duke.edu. Open to all interested students. Lunch provided on a first come, first served basis.
