Nicholas Marsh '98, trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice, criminal division, public integrity section, to discuss a number of topics relating to the investigation and prosecution of federal criminal cases, and in particular how those topics apply to public corruption matters. He will also speak about the considerations relevant to initiating a public corruption investigation, the different statutory and prosecutive approaches available to federal prosecutors, and some of the unique challenges that public corruption prosecutions present.
