Please join the Federalist Society in welcoming Judge Amul Thapar, a United States Circuit Judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit. A former United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Kentucky, Judge Thapar was the first confirmed judicial nominee of the new administration. He has enjoyed a distinguished career in private practice, in public service as U.S. Attorney, and as a jurist. Judge Thapar will speak on the proper role of a judge within the constitutional structure, as well as his own career. Lunch with be provided. Sponsored by the Federalist Society.
