Kannon Shanmugam, managing partner of Paul, Weiss's Washington, D.C. office and founding Chair of the firm's Supreme Court and Appellate Practice Group, speaks about Supreme Court advocacy. Mr. Shanmugam previously served as a law clerk to Justice Antonin Scalia and an Assistant to the Solicitor General, and he has argued 27 cases before the Supreme Court and dozens of appeals before each of the 13 federal courts of appeal.
