Join the National Lawyers Guild in honor of its Week Against Mass Incarceration. Our guest speaker, Kristie Puckett Williams, MA, is the Deputy Director of Engagement and Mobilization at the ACLU of North Carolina. A formerly incarcerated person, Puckett Williams transformed her lived experience into a career in advocacy and lobbying for prison abolition. She will share her work organizing around inhumane and unjust carceral conditions, especially for women and girls, as well as the movement to end mass incarceration in NC.
