Although women account for 40 percent of first- and second-year associates in M&A groups at top law firms, only 15 percent of these women go on to make partner in the field, according to an ABA study. Please join the Women Law Students Association and The Business Law Society for a discussion with attorneys from Hogan Lovells, Brooks Pierce, and Smith Anderson exploring M&A practice generally, the specific challenges that face female M&A lawyers, and how our panelists have overcome these challenges in order to attain success in the field.
