Sarah Boyce currently serves as Deputy Solicitor General at the North Carolina Department of Justice. As Deputy Solicitor General, Sarah helps oversee the State's civil litigation in the state and federal appellate courts.
Before joining NCDOJ, Sarah helped open the Washington, DC, office of Munger, Tolles & Olson. Sarah attended Davidson College and Duke University School of Law, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Duke Law Journal. She also served as a Bristow Fellow at the U.S. Department of Justice and clerked for Judge Jeffrey Sutton on the Sixth Circuit and Justices Sandra Day O'Connor and Stephen Breyer on the U.S. Supreme Court.
Sarah lives in Cary with her husband, Michael, and their two sons.
