Leslie Griffith is an attorney focusing on appellate and environmental litigation. As a Deputy Solicitor General in Washington state, she represented the governor and the state in constitutional, environmental, voting rights, and other civil litigation. She advised on appellate briefing and strategy across all divisions of the Attorney General's office. She also spent six years as an attorney with the Southern Environmental Law Center in Chapel Hill, where she represented nonprofit community and environmental organizations in advocacy and litigation.
Ms. Griffith graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School, where she served as Notes Editor on the Harvard Law Review. She then clerked for Judge Judith W. Rogers on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. Before attending law school, she earned her undergraduate degree summa cum laude from Duke University.
