Brad Mallard

Director of Advancement Services

Brad Mallard has been director of advancement services for Duke Law School since May 2014.  In this role, he is responsible for the strategic planning and management of the school’s internal advancement systems, which includes stewardship operations, prospect management and database integrity, general operations management, and campaign reporting.

Prior to joining Duke Law School, Brad served in increasing roles of responsibility in Prospect Research, Management & Analytics (PRMA) in the Duke University Office of Development.  While with PRMA, he managed the prospect research needs for officers, schools, and units across the University.  Before joining PRMA, he worked as a teacher at Our Lady of Lourdes School and Enloe High School.  He holds a B.A. in English with a minor in creative writing and an M.A.T. (master of arts in teaching) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Brad is married to Debbie Mallard, who is an online teacher for Wake County Public Schools and North Carolina Virtual Public School.  They have a daughter, Anne Marie, and reside in Cary, NC.
