Emily works with first-year students interested in public interest and government careers. In addition to working for Duke Law, Emily currently works for the federal government on consumer protection matters. She previously worked for Earthjustice, where she litigated environmental impact cases on behalf of communities suffering from air pollution. Outside of her legal practice, Emily is a strong supporter of the LGBTQ+ community. She holds a J.D. from Duke Law and a B.S. from Washington University in St. Louis, where she double majored in math and computer science. She is excited to work with students as they begin to plan their careers and navigate the job search process and believes strongly in the value of mentorship and her (virtual) door is open to all.
