Duke Law student members of the Veterans Disability Assistance Project (VDAP) spent Sept. 16 at the National Guard Armory in Durham, N.C., serving area veterans as part of the 2016 Bull City Stand Down. Some helped veterans complete applications to receive or update their DD Form 214, while members of Duke Law’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program helped others submit their tax returns.
