Clinics Information Session

April 11, 2016 • 12:30 PM • Law School 3041

In preparation for registration, come hear from faculty and students about the Law School's wide variety of clinical courses. Learning By Doing In a clinic, you are the lawyer. Working under the close supervision of clinical faculty, you meet with clients, analyze real world problems, develop legal strategies, prepare legal documents, and appear on behalf of your clients at meetings, in negotiations, and at hearings. Through this you will deepen your substantive legal knowledge, develop core lawyering skills and provide critical legal services to underrepresented clients who have no other access to the legal system. Sponsored by Law Clinics. For more information, please contact Sandra Pettiford at pettiford@law.duke.edu.
