Leading Duke Law: Meet Dean Kerry Abrams in Chicago

Chicago area alumni, parents, and friends are warmly invited to join us for this special event to meet Duke Law School Dean Kerry Abrams. Remarks by Dean Abrams will begin at 6:30 p.m. Kerry Abrams became the James B. Duke and Benjamin N. Duke Dean of the School of Law and professor of law on July 1, 2018. She is the 15th dean of Duke Law School. Prior to her appointment at Duke Law, Dean Abrams served on the law faculty of the University of Virginia for thirteen years, and, more recently, as vice provost for faculty affairs. Dean Abrams is well-known for scholarly writing on family-based migration and constitutional family rights. Dean Abrams is a graduate of Swarthmore College and Stanford Law School.
